22 April 2021 | AMART. L'arte è Milano

AMART will renew its appointment in Milan with the world of art and antiques from 27 to 31 October 2021.

After the success of the public and critics of the first two editions 2018 and 2019 and always promoted by the Milanese Antiques Association, AMART will once again be the reference point for the Italian and international antiques and art market, a pulsating core to rediscover the value and beauty of art in all its expressions. Exhibitors, collectors, enthusiasts have urged the holding of the 3rd edition of AMART which represents a sort of cultural and economic awakening after the long and dramatic period of health emergency.

Ideally dedicated to its President Domenico Piva, who left us in December 2020, hosted once again at the Museo della Permanente, a neoclassical jewel of Milanese architecture, AMART confirms the excellence of the sector’s offer with its 68 Exhibitors, showcase dedicated to antiques which, in addition to presenting paintings, sculptures, furniture, jewels, silver, carpets and much more, gives credit to the greatness of art, its artists and its craftsmen, as well as the value of the antique dealers themselves, disseminators of a deep cultural tradition. There are many signs that confirm the interest in antiques, many architects and home designers choose antiques to furnish homes with a contemporary taste and we are witnessing a return of interest from the younger generations. With this in mind, the exhibition has famous architects and designers as testimonials who have lent themselves to be photographed with antiques, to demonstrate the link between memory and the desire for the future for art in all its forms.

AMART is not just an exhibition offer, but represents an important cultural moment with a series of initiatives that will enliven the days, also in collaboration with the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan, the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum and the FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano. AMART has gone beyond the usual antiques exhibition to become a cultural crossroads from which a broader and more articulated associative market development project unfolds through proposals, insights, contaminations between different forms of art. High-level installations, quality of the exhibition, excellence in the offer, will remain the distinctive elements also for the 3rd edition that will enrich the artistic panorama of Milan, attracting collectors, enthusiasts, art professionals, artists, international visitors.
